Spooky Popcorn!

I found this recipe from one of my new favorite food bloggers, Dinner Reinvented – my kids LOVED making this with me. My guess is this will be a new Halloween tradition for us.

Green Slime Popcorn Recipe

Green Slime Popcorn   Save Print Ingredients

• 8-10 cups popped popcorn
• ½ cup packed light brown sugar
• ⅓ cup butter
• 16oz mini marshmellows
• green food dye
• candy eyeballs or any other favorite halloween candy

Instructions

1. Place popcorn in a large bowl.
2. Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Add in the marshmellows. Stir until melted and smooth.
3. Stir in green food dye.
4. Pour mixture over popcorn and stir. This part gets messy so just be patient! It will all eventually come together. Sprinkle with candy.
